When your design is ready for machining, create a Prospector project with one click of the mouse. Because all design data is encapsulated as a Prospector project, you can avoid the potential for errors that can happen when users are required to choose part data based on file naming conventions.
PowerSource™ technology, the brains behind Prospector, powers the direct interface between ToolDesigner and Prospector to capture your design data, job information and machining rules and instructions in one easy step.
Have an engineering change? No problem. Choose "Update Prospector Project..." to insert additional data or replace design data. Prospector handles the rest by regenerating and verifying affected NC programs to ensure correctness.
Automatic Gun Drill Programming
Combining Prospector with ToolDesigner provides you with the complete solution for waterline design and manufacturing. When you've completed and checked the waterline design in 3D, choose Create Prospector Project With Programs from the File menu. This feature not only creates a Prospector project but also creates all the NC programs to manufacture the waterlines. Automatically. No NC programming is required. The complete project is ready for machining. Combining the power of Prospector with ToolDesigner change your entire process for waterlines from design through manufacturing to achieve maximum efficiency.
